In the third quarter of 2015 Turkish economy showed an increase of 4%. According to the Turkish Statistical Institute, consumer spending increased by 3.4%, government consumption expenditure by 7.8%. The share of exports decreased by 0.6% and imports by 1%. Because of the fluctuations in the global economic market growth is regarded as a measure of success. Deputy Prime Minister Mehmet Simsek, said that in 2016 growth of the economy will show even better results.
