From 1 January 2016 increase of the motor vehicles tax at 5.58% is expected. New tariffs are published in official sources: 1-3-year vehicles with an engine capacity of 1300-1600 cm3 — 997 lira, 1600-1800 cm3 — 1760 lira, 1800-2000 cm3 — 2772 lira. The minimum tax of 66 tl will be taxed vehicles older than 16 years, with an engine capacity below 1,300 cm3.
